The nearest international airport to Glendale is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). If you are flying in to LAX  we recommend you rent a car because the public transportation system in LA is very limited.

Parking: The College charges $3 a day/flat rate for parking. There are kiosks to pay and print your parking pass as you enter the parking area from Mountain Street. Don't forget to display the parking pass on your dash. College security regularly checks for parking violations.

Useful Information

Meals: A one hour lunch break is provided, from 12:30 - 1:30. You may bring your own lunch or obtain food from a nearby restaurant. The Flame Broiler, Quiznos Subs, Kurry and Kabob, McDonald's, Coffee Bean are all within walking distance. Chipotle, Trader Joe's, Whole Food's, The Habit are within short driving distance.

Accommodations: Students are responsible for locating their own accommodations. There are a number of comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotels and motels in the Glendale area where the class will be held, such as:

Dress: Keep in mind that this is an interactive workshop where you will be doing a lot of moving around and getting out of your seat, so please dress comfortably.

What to Bring: Please bring your own pens and paper or tablet for taking notes. Everything else will be provided for you at the class.
