Time and Location

The course starts each day at 9am. On the first day, please plan to arrive by 8:30 to allow time for you to get checked in and settled. The course will finish at approxamitely 4pm each day except for the last day, which will conclude with graduation around 1pm.

This course is held at the Portuguese Cultural Center, in Danbury, Connecticut, just over an hour north of New York City. If coming from New York City, you can get to Danbury by train using the Metro North Line. To see more details on train travel you can visit the official MTA website.  For getting around Danbury, there are several taxi services if you won't have your own car.

Lunch

A one hour lunch break is provided, usually from 12:30 - 1:30. You can choose to eat at the venue's own restaurant, which will have a menu of sandwich and salad options, pop out to a nearby food establishment, or bring your own lunch. Keep in mind that if you bring your own lunch, no outside food is allowed in the conference room itself.

Useful Information

Dress: We receive many inquiries from students wondering how they should dress for this class. Keep in mind that this is an interactive, methodology workshop where you will be doing a lot of moving around and getting out of your seat, so please dress comfortably.

What to Bring: Please bring your own pens/paper or device for taking notes. Everything else will be provided for you at the class.
